Introduction

This project links research already being undertaken in Northern Australia and western indonesia with new work in Eastern Indonesia. Click here for a more detailed description of the project in English or Indonesian.

Out-Puts
Provided here are some initial products and results from the on-going research and training including fire mapping, posters and photos from a strategic burning demonstration day in Sumba and agro-forestry sites in Flores.

Research Methodology

The following methodologies are described below:

1. Fire Mapping and Monitoring - spatial data collation and analysis.

2. Social cultural research - Participatory Rural Appraisal.
